Hood River

Blaine's favorite pumpkin display.

All the pumpkins Blaine picked out were little. We kept asking if he wanted a bigger pumpkin and he would say ok and then go pick out another little pumpkin.

Some 'me' & daddy time. Notice the "baby" pumpkin in his hand, it was his favorite.

Enjoying a carmel apple in line while we waited to pay for our pumpkins.

We decided today, on a whim, that we would hop in the car and check out the Harvest Festival in Hood River. We went to Rassmason Farm, did the pumpkin patch, got some apples, cider and jam. Blaine enjoyed the decorative pumpkins and the pumpkin bowling, he did not care for the kids maze or the corn maze. We stopped at Mt. Hood Winery on our way back into town, I enjoyed the tasting and Blaine enjoyed chasing some little girls on the grass. (Jeff refereed)

The Portland Zoo

Blaine and I went to the Portland zoo this week. We got there early and spent a good 2 hours exploring. Blaine loved the polar bears, I had to call his name several times so
he would turn and look at the camera.
His favorite, as usual, was the monkeys. He especially loved yelling at the gorillas.

Having a staring contest with the monkey.

Checking out the big fish.

I think his favorite was dropping leaves in the fountain.

We found the tigers on the way out. Blaine couldn't resist giving them his best roar.

"Trust the Gorden's Fisherman"

Just thought he looked silly in his rain gear.

The Seattle Aquarium

These are some pics from this summer when my mom was in town. We were lucky enough to meet up with a teacher friend of hers from Castro Valley. It was a nice visit for my mom and a lot of fun for Blaine.

Little Tots Soccer

Blaine had a great time trying out a new soccer class this week. He got hit in the face with bubbles.....
Showed off his football skills by doing a running tackle on a new "buddy".....

Played tag with another new friend.....

All 3 boys playing together, Blaine was giggling the whole time.

My little soccer boy.
