Port Townsend Day Trip

Jeff and I have decided since we are both home right now we are going to do a day trip once a week. This week it was Port Townsend, we were so lucky with the weather it was absolutely gorgeous. We took a ferry ride from Edmonds to Kingston, we had grand ideas of enjoying the views from the deck. The picture above shows how we both began and ended our trip, it wasn't as picturesque from the front seat of the car.

When we got off the ferry in Kingston it was still an hour drive to Port Townsend. As soon as we got into town we looked for a park for Blaine to burn a little energy.

Lunch at the Nifty Fifty, he loved the hot dogs and the Juke Box.

Before we got back on the road we wanted Blaine to stretch his legs a little, so we went to Fort Worden. Blaine had a grand time making touchdowns on the parade field. He also had a fondness for the decorative shells by the flag poles.
